Install into local drive and add =N:\notes\notes.ini to the startup-link. Works here, but gives some problem if you try to access notes data from 3-party produts (Nokia suite, Apps, which gets Data from Notes vie COM, also NotesHound and probably Ytria). Maybe you could add your own registry settings (look for the data folder and change it to N:...)
Just to make sure: we even got notes 8.0.1 running installed on a network folder. Needed some hacking of internal files (*Links) but now we coul basicly deploy it by copy the programm folder and starting with the =notes.ini thingy. Unfortunatelly in some times it gives some strage upgrade errors which we have not yet figured out. Using local installed programm and network data folder works more or less perfectly, thought.
